whistling from the doorjam?
Hey everyone
just wondering if anyone has ran into an issue with their doors making a whistling noise at higher speeds.
i notice it when i cross over about 45mph and it just gets progressively louder the faster I go (duh)
I had my brother ride shotgun and he said it sounded like it was coming from the passenger door up in the corner where the speaker sail is located, was wondering if this was a known issue on our cars or if I should just try getting new weather stripping on the door and see if that doesn't fix the problem...
Thanks for your time,
Tom

I have the same problem although my g is an 03. I believe it is the weather stripping around the back corner/edge of the window. Try putting some padding behind the weather stripping. But, I would be careful to add a little at a time as you don't want to interfere with the window operation just get a better seal between the weatherstripping and the glass.

I think I'am starting to have the same problem on my 05. I was going around 70-75 today and I could hear a noise coming from my driver side door and it was sort of a rattle/whistle. Very annoying but I will be checking it out next weekend when I get a chance. Granted it only does that when I am driving at high speeds which isn't too often it's still something I'd like to get fixed.
