G35 vs. G37
#16
* Uneven tread wear - 10-12k miles needs to be replaced. Most people ride it out longer but do so at your own risk. Especially during the winter season
* 70k miles - oil pooling on the sparkplugs
Also, the see: 6 major recalls and over 70 TSB's.

I've been trying to be convinced that I really like the 37, but I just can't.
I've been to the dealership like 4 times looking at it, just trying to make myself like it, but I just don't have the same kind of wow factor from the g35. I really think infinity fked up on styling. Don't get me wrong it's a nice car, but IMO it kinda blends with other cars in the road. The 35, even though it's getting old and common, still has incredible lines.
Granted the 37 is faster, nicer interior, newer, good nav, and all. But for now I'm sticking w the 35. Hopefully Infinity will come out with something in the next couple of years that will make me change my mind... cuz my G is turning 6 real soon lol.
Ps. G37 onwers please don't take my comments as offensive. Its just my .02

Ok I have changed my mind!
He took delivery and we sat in the car and checked out some of the features.
Exterior - I feel the G35 looks cleaner and sleeker.
Interior - No contest, the G37 is a huge improvement.
Features - The navi/back up camera is badass.
The car is fantastic. No two ways about it. I love how the front seats lower a lot more than in my G35 - I feel I sit up too high where as in the G37 I can put the seat down very low and be in a more comfortable position.
He went from a V6 Mazda6 to this so for him it was a nice bump in power as well.
Overall - awesome car and I wish I had one but I still love my G35x

Congrats to your brother!
They are honestly two different cars. The G35 is very raw IMO (which may or may not be appealing to some people). The G37 is much nicer, comfortable, and smoother. But I will agree with you the driving experience is not as fun as the original G35. I only say that because I prefer the rawness of the G35. Both are GREAT CARS...just completely different. Depends on what you are after.
