Damage on rims from tire change
#33
Arkansas. As i've said i've tried 2 other places, they stated they can't do it since I didn't buy the tires from them (why the hell would that matter?) Also, I don't have anyone I can ask to "refer" me somewhere as i'am new to town and the people I do know don't know of anywhere.
Yes for the labor, to swap my sensors from my g35 rims to the g37 rims.

Well I don't mind bringing to nissan as long as they dont f**k up my rims. I will check before I leave and if theres any marks, I will go complain. I bought them with no marks, if anyone is going to cause damage it will be me, someone else does it they will be buying me a new rim. Extreme? Maybe, but I take care of my things and most of my cars/trucks have looked about the same as brand new.

Haven't confronted them with the problem yet, since it's minimal and I only noticed it recently.
I would inspect the rims with the employee before the work, agree that they're flawless, and should be like that after the install. If he agrees, you should be fine.

That's not really extreme at all... my machete comment may have been
Recently, a friend of mine had a really bad experience with an alignment shop that scratched all four of his wheels... and he didn't let up until they had them professionally re-powercoated.
If you're in the mood for a very lengthy but well written account of the incident: http://www.nfspmotorsports.com/forum...sg1031#msg1031

I'm with you. Just to let you know, they have damaged my rims (paint chipping in the lug nut hole).

My other question is, what if they do f--k my rims up and say they didnt do it, and i'm still on their property and haven't left? Can I call the police, what? This is the grey area.
I plan on taking pictures before tomorrow (I have a appointment).

I too think that the shop will sing you a per damage paper. If there is any damage done then the shop wont be liable.
