Vdc and slip lights on. I searched but mines unique...

Ok so my slip light and vdc off light came on this afternoon. I drove my car all morning and it was fine...

I looked online and checked my break fluid, it's half way between min and max. My pads are still pretty thick. My ABS works just fine... And the light isn't on. My break light is not on. My check engine light is not on.

The car drives normal, makes full power... Gets up to redline like normal.

My fuse should be fine because my brake lights work like normal.

I don't know how to check any sensors... But the sensors to ABS, brake fluid, maf, and throttle body all look fine and are tightly connected.

Any other ideas before I bring it to the dealership under warranty???

Oh and my wheels have new tires but they have been on for a month now... And they seethe same sizes I had on thre with the old tires. And all tires are at the correct PSI

Lights stay on when the car is restarted, and are on even when the battery is disconnected...

my fluid was also between the min and max, but pads were getting low. added some fluid and problem went away.

That wouldn't explain why the light remains on after disconnecting the battery. You could have a bad wheel speed sensor somewhere. Might need to plug in for diagnostics at the dealership.

I hyave the same problem except my steering wheel is now off center and my VDC off and slip lights only come after i start to move. when i turn the car off, the lights go off. Im taking it back because my car was not like this when i put it in the body shop to fix dent in my fender... i got it back with curb rash on the rims and messed up steering... anyone know what the cause of this might be?

Somebody nailed a curb bad enough that at the very least your alignment is off, but it's possible they bent a control arm or something.

I'd file a complaint with the management of that shop dude.

the curb rash isnt bad it was from them parrellel parking, i cant imagine that it was that, not to mention it was on my rear wheel... its still pretty ****ty that i paid 600 dollars to get my car out and its worse than i gave it to them, a complaint will most definatly be filed, the people there were very helpful though so ill give them a chance to fix their mistake before i go to far. the car seems to drive fine, just a little bit... loose in the steering... but all i had them do was replace a bumper and install berk HFCs... i dont see how this would cause a steering issue.
