I'd definitely be down for that. Though my wheel setup isn't exactly ideal for it lol.

Not really into the parking lot meets. Yeah lets stand around with 40 dudes and 2 girls posing for 40 cars. lol Lets talk about what intake you have and how much faster your car is because you got a plenum and a injen cold air intake.
Well said bro...I'm always down for sum canyon runs...I'm always hiting up GMR with my homie and his FC turbo II...

I've only been to parking lot meets. I would love to go to a performance meet but I've never encountered one that fitted my schedule

...Too true. Most meets, no matter the type, are just a big sausage party. It'd be hard to disagree with me that most here prefer meets with lots of nice cars and lots of nicer Those are the best meets.

As to the poll...performance meets are the best, drive for a while, stop in some town and take some pics, drive for a while, stop in some town and take some pics...you get the idea. Plus the locals freak seeing all these sports cars that they usually never get a chance to see up close. Some of these towns are "down on their luck" so to speak because of the economy so they really appreciate it when 10 or more of us stop and spend some money.

There's some awesome mountain drives up here, the Hwy to Whistler used to be great until it was straightened out in the curviest sections because of the Winter...make that Spring...Olympics we just had here.

You're going to get rock chips on the bumper even driving in the city so you might as well drive the car near it's capabilities. This isn't an instance of that but here's a vid from my club's last mountain run:

Here's the rest of my pics n' vid from that meet:

looking forward to my next mountain run so can try out these new Goodrich Street tires that can "supposedly" handle 1G cornering i will for sure be "testing" that statement

I'm bored after 10 minutes at a parking lot meet. Performance meets are the best. That "California Speedway" looks like a lot of fun.
