disaster installing the PAC
disaster installing the PAC
So when installing the PAC unit in my 2005 g35x sedan, i accidentally pulled out the wires to the 10-pin connector and cant for the life of me find out what colors go where (its the one on the top left when facing the back of the head unit. I was wondering if someone had a link to a diagram or could just take a picture of theirs so i could see what colors go where.
Thanks in advance for your help!

If you can give me the location of the part I would be glad to take pictures of it for you tomorrow. You are installing the pac-swi correct? Don't forget to add resistors also when installing otherwise it won't work properly.
PS do a search on google of the part example: PAC SWI-PS G35 DIY and a diagram that was made in paint maybe?? is what my audio installer went by. Everything works perfectly fine it even included instructions on how to setup the controller.
its the PAC AAI-NIS2, and its the main power cable. looking at it from the back of the head unit, there are 4 connectors, and its the large on on the top left. Ive been searcing for DIY's and part names for hours, couldnt find a thing.
Weird..PAC has so many different devices that it's hard to keep up with all of them now. Is this the same one that most users install for an audio input?

this is the one ive heard of most, and ive seen a lot of people use it. It has dash controls too but i have a zune so i dont need that, just the aux input.
...plus its easier just using the zune itself to control the audio than the headunit.
Im having a hard time figuring out what i need to plug in or not, cause i dont have an SAT button. but my first problem is getting those wires back to normal. I should probably check if i blew a fuse too putting them in wrong.

Im not sure what it is on your aux input but, for my SWI-PS (steering wheel control unit) I needed to use a 95ohm resistor and 115ohm resistor. Otherwise it would just blow fuses or not work properly.
With a little bit of searching I did find this though...Maybe this will help a little bit

Well if you can't figure it out I would just take it to an audio shop they should only charge you an hour of labor IF that. Good luck though. But, if you wanna look for yourself just type in Ipod input G35 diy on google or Aux in g35 diy. I tried typing in the model of your PAC unit and nothing came up at all. Good luck.
