search 06 nice bite then nice fade, brembo maybe not as nice of a bit but not so much fade.

so much for trying to help a member upgrade at a steal. ohhh well good luck rectifying your issue.

Thanks man, but I can't afford to replace my brakes right now. I would love to have some Brembos though. I am prolly just going to paint them with that Duplicolor kit that was recommended above.

I just put on my spacers a couple hours ago. I am going to buy that duplicolor paint on kit in black. I am also going to paint the rusty part of the rotor black too. Does anyone know if it is safe to use that "Rust remover" that you brush on rusted parts and it turns the rust into a black non rustable metal? I figure it might last longer/less maint. than paint.

wouldn't use anything other than some 220 grit sandpaper. thats all you need.

it'd probably look good to get "INFINITI" letters, spray the caliper black, then use the letters as a stencil (reciprocal of stencil?), then paint gunmetal. Peel off the letters, and you'd have gunmetal calipers with black infiniti lettering.

Look what I found on page 1, the answer to his questions after 4 pages of comments most of which didn't help his issue of rusty calipers/rotors.

everything
Dont draw attention to small OEM calipers and rotors. If you ARE gonna paint them, prep them properly, and paint them a color that doesnt scream "hey look at small OEM brakes!" NO red! NO yellow! I used Nissan paint code K51 (platinum graphite). I painted mine with automotive bc/cc. Im planning on Rotora or Stoptech BBK this coming spring though

As for the hub area on the rotor, spray it with flat black. I cant stand rust anywhere on a car, especially rotors. I sprayed mine but rust still shows a little bit right on the edge where the caliper stops clamping.

Thanks to all of you for your opinions and help. Especially to Gary, Mustang5L5 and 5150DS. I went with Duplicolor brush kit in black and Duplicolor Caliper spray in Silver. It looks way better than before.
