Thumbs up Ugly g35 brakes

Hello people,
The brakes on my 06 Coupe are ugly. I can not afford to buy better brakes at the moment. I was thinking of painting them or buying some plastic ebay covers. Sounds awful but they will look better than my stock brakes.

Also, anybody know a trick to get rid of the rust that shows up inside edge of rotors? Thank you for the help.

no, to the idea of brake covers. if anything just get some high temp paint to paint the calipers.

Naa, you don't need to waste $$ on those funky caliper covers. You can fix this issue in a few short hours and you might have fun too. Clean everything and paint your calipers with high heat paint (black) and paint that 1" strip on your rotors after you've cleaned them with steel wool/cleaner.
This will last for several years and they'll be "Lookin Good!"

I actually want to see someone buy those plastic covers and put them on their hot brakes.

If you are gonna keep the OEM brakes and paint them, paint them black or silver. Anything else just looks stupid IMO

The flame suit comment was pretty funny. Looks like I will stay away from the plastic covers (even if they do say Brembo) I may just go with Gary's idea. I appreciate all the feedback.

Def no to the covers, I painted mine silver. There is a diy on here somewhere, if you really need it. Can't seem to find it, but it had the link to quality high-temp paint and brake decals(could get some that say Brembo or Infiniti)!
