That type of setup would be logical for low end as well as mid-range but when it comes to big numbers top end the superchargers would be more resistant because of the limited amount of boost it can carry versus the turbos.
^^^ It's not really about a limited amount of boost. It's always a function of the heat and efficiency of an S/C vs a turbo. An S/C that is comparable to a turbo in terms of airflow will almost always make less power by virtue of parasitic loss or by the extra heat generated from the supercharger.
Either way, I would love to have a twin S/C setup for my G if I was able to fit it under the hood...

BTW: Some of the older V8 Vantages from Aston Martin were twin supercharged as well.

Yeah, the turbo feeding the super seems illogical. Superchargers for low end, good idea, but they are going to be matched to engine RPM, so it seems the only thing the turbos would be able to do is reduce the parasitic loss of the supercharger at higher end by reducing the work they do compressing air.
Well, you could run a S/C that has a centrifugal clutch that disengages at a predetermined RPM and run an actuator on a wastegate on the turbo that closes up when the S/C boost falls off....
Or you can get a ball bearing turbo and anti-lag.

But this setup definitely looks cool, and would probably win the technical awards.
