2door v.s. 4door G35

I just like to read the comments by some of the people on here. Good for an evening chuckle.
Honestly I think the sedan is butt ugly compared to the coupe. But then again growing up, I have ALWAYS been a coupe person, never cared for 4 doors anyhow, otherwise I'd be driving and STi. I'm not saying there aren't some FAWESOME (fu*king awesome) looking sedans out there in their own right, but it's not my flavor and style. Not hating on sedans.. I could be 80 years old and still think coupes are better (looking) than sedans.
I think calling a 2 door version ugly compared to a 4 door (or vice versa) is like calling one identical twin ugly over another. Seriously people, let's grow up and admit that they're both freaking G35's.

Or this:

I really don't see how this car is 'butt ugly'. In fact, i think it is one of the most attractive sedans on the road. Especially when its on Z suspension with some nice 19s.

Thats a stock 05 sedan too. I could be a douche and post a picture of like G sedan, or Marcus's car and really show you what a nice looking car looks like, but i'll stick to stock.
And for the record, i get compliments on the way my car looks all the time. Just because its a 4 door doesn't mean it cant get you laid.
More room for bumping in the back. You guys overlook these trivial little things way too often. These threads always turn into pissing matches.
And I present to you, the actual butt ugly sedan:
This is all that really matters though
6mt FTW (that should get it started again)

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

Today I moved my girlfriend into her new place at school (London) and the majority of the population on the street was 18-25 year olds. Guys and girls.
I didn't see a single person NOT look at my sedan. I had people hang there head out the window and say "Holy ****" I continually overheard people saying "what kind of car is that?" "Wow, I thought the coupe was sick..." etc.
I was stoked but at the same time sketched out. It'll be off the road soon for the winter but it'll see campus a few more time before then.
I have no regret in buying my sedan, and I will NEVER buy a coupe with a back seat.
When ever this thread pops up I always use my line;
"As many doors as you have passengers"
If you wanted to buy a 2 door sports car, you should'a bought a Z.
Not to insult coupe owners, but I really do see the coupe as an after thought for Nissan, just like the first gen 350Z roadster. The sedan was designed and ready to go by 2001 (and being sold in Japan already) the coupe wasn't ready for sale until 2003 (model year)
That's as in depth I've got on my opinion about this subject. Someone quote this.

I think the only legitiment reason for buying the coupe is that its 'hella sexy'. Pretty much sums up why people buy them lol unless you buy like a Solara or something. Those are still pretty lame.
I have both. An 06 Coupe 6MT and an 07 G35X. Let's look at the main issues:
Looks: The coupe does look sportier. Sexier? Not necessarily. The sedan is definitely a classier looking car. And even though it is more elegant looking, the sedan also looks sporty without being in-your-face. I personally find it to be a toss up.
Performance: The sedan probably has an edge 0-60. The sedan actually feels more powerful but that is totally subjective. The sedan feels very planted and handles well. The coupe handles extremely well. Surely the coupe has the edge all things considered. And I love driving a manual tranny.
Comfort: No contest. The coupe is loud and rides like a buckboard. You feel every expansion joint and pebble in the road. (This is a 6MT with Sport Tuned suspension and very narrow tires on 19" rims). Even a smooth road produces lots of road noise. The 06 coupe also has a cheap, tinny interior. Everything creaks and rattles. The 07 sedan is quiet. Ride is superb. Fit, finish and interior materials are light years ahead of the 06 and probably 07 coupe. And yet, the sedan never feels loose or sloppy. The seat belts on the coupe stink and are too far back (because of the rake of the b-pillar). Coupe seats are good, the sedan's are better. Getting into and out of the rear seats of the coupe requires a contortionist. Only a smaller adult will have enough headroom to ride in the back. It is also very hard to reach into the back seat from the front and even from the door.
Final Answer: I decide to drive the coupe most of the time. It is loads of fun even though it is not as comfortable. To get from point A to point B on fairly short trips (less than 2-3 hours) and with one or two people and no stuff, I drive the coupe. If I have any stuff or more than one other person, sedan every time. If I want comfort, less noise, better sound system and tech goodies, again, the sedan gets the nod.
Maybe this helps. Maybe not. Easy solution, get both.

Seriously? Get what you want. If you like a coupe get it, if you like a sedan, get that.
I feel sorry for everyone making the getting laid comments. If you need a car for that then you need to really step up your game son.
