I would be curious to know exactly how many people would seriously buy a carbon driveshaft. If theres enough intrest I might be able to put something together.

Im not sure there is much point to a CF driveshaft since ACPT already has the measurement and design finalized for one, all you need to do is give them a call. See this thread (there are even pics):

https://g35driver.com/forums/drivetr...riveshaft.html

Edit: I looked up older threads again and ACPT needs a stocker for the end yolks and even then its a 6 week turn around time

I posted in the thread you linked (way back when I inquired)... that's the place I said need to destroy OEM - I wont let me OEM go as the guinea pig).

No one has made a CF drive shaft for the G.

I hear ya, it would b nice to have someone make a ready to install driveshaft without the stock donor.

I would be interested, but would really like to see this under 800...kinda hard for me to justify any more than that (maybe initial group buy )

edit: i was just looking at some of the cf driveshafts available for other cars....i might be a bit low with that 800 figure

I think with a decent number in gb the price should be decent... doing it solo is 1100 - so having several should be significantly lower...

The ones we sell now are ready to install. They dont need donor parts. I doubt we could do it for $800, my guess is about $1000. But I really dont know, I need to make some calls. Any one know the length and diameter of the shaft?

without removing it and taking extremely accurate measurements I dont think we're gonna get the answer...

Could we also get some info of who you are and what shop youre with. I would like to see a cf shaft for the g but also for the safety of the consumer and this forum.

If I can get a 6MT drive shaft for ~$200 as a donor would anyone be willing to chip in?
