Do you feel like your G is junk?
^^^^^We have known that forever lol.
BTW check out his jdm mousepads. Funny thing is i believe he is using peoples cars from the sight as his background pics. Someone needs to sue his azz. He even makes fun of the karuma body kit then makes a mousepad with it on there. I was like wow.

I'm very happy with my G35 and have never regretted buying it. The community on these boards that post their problems with the G often also come up with solutions and most of them aren't anything all that bad to deal with. Even the oil consumption isn't that big a deal - check your oil, go to dealer, get new engine (granted dealers can be a pain in the ***, but it's still not that big a deal). 77 TSBs or not, I'd rather deal with a company that recognizes having a flaw and does something about it than one that tries hard to avoid making things right. My car runs and drives and great, and there's a ton of information here to help me if I run into problems. The only problems I've got right now are not enough money laying around for FI and a deployment keeping me from driving it

Stay safe bro, and safe trip home whenever that happens to be for ya.
Remember the Yugo? Kind of hard to clean up your reputation after that. But then again, Dodge did it, so there's still hope. Put a Cummins in a Yugo....and they will come.
Is the G still 100% made in Japan? Its so common now for Toyotas, Hondas etc to have an American engine, a Mexican transmission, and assembled in Canada. Don't believe it? Look at the window stickers on a few new cars.
When I bought my G with 7 miles on it, the glove box had a factory quality/test drive certificate signed by the quality technician back in Japan. Car has 144,000 on it and not one problem other than the side air bag connector recall they sent me. The early G's were built with care. Back then, Infiniti was just getting back in the game and the G launch was a huge deal for them. They put their best people on the field and it showed. Not sure about now though.

My '04 G35 Coupe 6MT is up to 72,000 miles now. The only major thing that happened so far was the radiator fan motors died. Nissan reimbursed the cost to replace them. The only other issues are the front compression rod rubber bushings cracked and I replaced them with SPL alloy bushings. Also, the upper A/F sensors on the headers went bad and I had those replaced. Clutch went bad and replaced the clutch with a Jim Wolf heavy duty clutch. The rest is normal wear and tear items such as tires. Plus, the car has quite a few mods.
My 8-year-old sedan runs, looks and drives great, and is nearly rattle/squeak-free, except for the rear suspension which I induced and have not gotten around to resolving. All cars have their issues but few would give me as much pleasure to drive.
+1 swivelhips

I've mentioned this before but, a lot of G's are on their second and even third owners. If I had a car that I was going to be selling I would drive the hell out of it. Also in my opinion people sell their cars when something is going wrong. So people buying second hand, unless you know the previous owner you could be purchasing a heep of trouble. Also, alot of these cars are starting to get high mileage on them and with high mileage comes repairs. From what I've observed the high mileage trouble free cars on the forum were bought new or CPO or with very low mileage. Funny somehow I seem to have missed the 9 major recalls with the exception of the gas filler and TSBs mean nothing...they are suggested maintenance items. My G turns eight in December and driving it never fails to put a smile on my face.
I think it's one of the better built cars I've driven.
Yes a lot of **** is broken on my car, but that is purely my doing. When your car is at the ride height mine is you brake ****.
But nothing that wasn't forced to break has and who the hell had their sunroof fly off?
