the only reason i think my g is junk is because its stock but thats not gonna last long. every car has its flaws but that can be taken away with upgrades. a stock car is always crappy and junk to me lol

Heat shield from the exhaust. Next to the crappy welds, and the 77+ tsb's.. Keep adding it to the list!
While your crawling around under your car inspecting your welds...why don't you take a wrench and tighten your heatshield. Oh, that's right if you fix it you can't b*tch about it.

You really have no understanding what a TSB is. They are not recalls for defects.
Here's some examples of your famous 77 tsb's.

CERTIFICATION LABEL AND VIN PLATE REPLACEMENT

"D" RING RESIDUE CAN CAUSE SLOW SEAT BELT RETRACTION

INTELLIGENT KEY BATTERY REPLACEMENT AND BATTERY DISCHARGE INDICATOR RESET

ACCESSORY WHEEL LOCKS INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL

As you can see these are indeed serious problems and well worth criticism of the G35.

LOL! I thought i was the only one looking back at my car like it's some hot chick. Every time i lock the car about 3-4 car spaces away i look back at the car. I always park in the back so it's empty.

HOLY FACK!!!

My car has now had 2 confirmed TSB's in a 2 year period, I need to call my lawyer ASAP to see if the lemon law still aplies.
My insurance company will most likely total the car too.....

the g35 is a great car but the problem is that people expect way too much out of it and then come in and cry when they don't get it

I've got mixed feelings about that. I would agree in my case because I bought mine used for $17k with 75k miles on it. But these cars (G35 Coupe) cost, what, $35k new? What should you expect from a $35k car with a V6? I mean, it isn't an exotic car, which often come with exotic problems and exotic repair bills. And it isn't cheap either, like say a Honda Civic. The G37 6MT is over $40k. If I bought one new (which I would NEVER do) I'd be mighty upset if the dash, doors and trim rattled like a 1980 Ford Fairmont.

I generally agree with you, but the whole reason I started this thread was more to point out how the internet can make you worry and obsess about every little thing....even things that haven't happened yet. I've tried to quit worrying about mine. I figure if it had had an engine with the OC issue the engine would already be dead at 75k miles!

i had my OC issues fixed by getting a new engine, clearly that's a setback but so far good maintenance and good driving have brought me nothing but good results

i mean clearly it's not a honda nor is it as fun to drive as some of the great cars out there but I wasn't pointing directly at you but I know people on this board make the g35 seem to be a better car than it really is

If you can point me to one car forum that people are not posting minor/major problems I would be very surprised. Readers of the forums are extreme car nuts. They are extremely sensitive to how their vechicles are operating/performing. Face it guy's we are not normal. There are thousands of G35 drivers out there who are completely happy with their cars even though they may be experiencing many of the things there are mega posts about on this forum. I also belong to a forum where the majority of cars are >$60,000 2010's and there are a number of posts about little annoying problems. Things that don't work the way the owner thinks they should.
