Motordyne shockwave dual

Is there a motordyne shockwave dual replica or knockoff out right now? I really dislike the sound of the xo2 , it is so ricey sounding. I have a flowmastercas my muffler and everything else is stock. Can I pull the resonators off and make it deeper or will it just add more interior noise and sound like shcrap?

I say go for Topspeed. The old Topspeed exhaust had a really really deep tone, but really opened up at WOT. I think the new topspeed exhausts look like the HKS ones. The one i'm referring to is the one with the single pipe that splits into 2 at the muffler section.

Here's the one I had mounted on my coupe. You deep tone is noticeable towards the end of this very short video. This was under normal throttle.

Just to clear everything up. This is the TopSpeed you're looking for.

I think they have been discontinued, and the current topspeed exhausts look like this.

Which are HKS knockoff.

A continuing argument, cheap vs quality....=oP

Why would anyone want that topspeed exhaust, it's just a singe exhaust with dual fart cannons?? If you're going to spend $$ on an exhaust system why not do it right....MotorDyne/HKS/Stillens dual system? That way you get the sound and RWHP increase....

This is strictly my opinion!!!

People want the topspeed and other knock offs to build up from. I dont consider it a step down . It is better than stock. The exhaust systems you mentioned are just way overpriced for my budget as well as alot of other people.

I totally understand what you've posted, but I'd wait 30 to 90 days and save the cash to buy something worth while putting on your G35 for the sound and HP increase. Or for the best results keep the OE exhaust and install Berk's HFCs since the OE cats are the largest power robber. You not only change the sound with HFCs but release another 10 RWHP for around $400....that's cheap hp!

Dual fart cannons? Sure. But I did it for the sound. It was unique, and I liked it. Besides, any power you get from an exhaust with the G35 is laughable. The car is still slow as hell unless you go FI. And even still, it would probably still run 12s. This is why I sold my G35.

I'm sure most people with G35's could care less about how much HP/TQ they actually gain. They're more concerned about sound. From what I could tell, the OP's first post referred to SOUND rather than PERFORMANCE.

Let me help you out here.

I would keep a close look at the marketplace.

Great deals on used systems for less than half the price. Just make sure it comes with gaskets and hardware.

I would skip on HFC's and get Motordyne ART pipes if your looking for power. Proven performance over HFC's and conventional test pipes.

You are right sir it was!!!!! That is the reason for the flowmaster and I dropped 40lbs from the car at the same time. The flow sounds good just needing a little more depth from the car thus the question about the resonators.
