1st time driving a Sedan*** WOW!
I've got an 06 6MT coupe and an 07 G35X. The sedan does not feel lighter and I doubt that it is. The sedan does feel better made, it has a more comfortable ride that is still tight and responsive, the interior is light years better than the coupe. The 5AT in the X is very good, but occasionally gets lost in mixed driving. The 0-60 times are about the same on paper but I'm sure I can do 0-60 faster in the X simply because the clutch in the 6MT is fussy to launch and I haven't mastered it yet. The steering in the X is very good but a bit more insulated than the coupe.
The coupe is loud inside, more road noise and rattles than exhaust or engine noise. It rides like a tank. It has a lot less head room.
Day to day I prefer to drive the coupe. I just like driving a manual. For a Sunday drive in the country or the mountains I prefer the coupe. For a longer road trip or with more than 2 people I prefer the X. Bad weather, I go with the X.
So for me, the sedan is a much nicer car. Better put together (it is a 2nd gen of course) and it feels luxurious and sporty at the same time. It is quiet and comfortable but still fast. The coupe is just more fun to drive but the real kicker that sets the coupe apart is how it handles in tight curves and corners. It is just amazing and so much fun.

Haha, reading this and looking at your avatar, I was put in mind of an infamous science fiction villain...both make funny breathing sounds...well played.
I drove 2 hours this morning to the nearest Infiniti dealer for the seatbelt tensioner recall issue to be fixed. My loaner car was a 2011 M56s. Yeah it was loaded and comfy and had nav, but holy ***** it was quick. When I stomped on it on the interstate, I got a little nervous. Maybe it's because in an auto, you hit the gas and the rpm's near 7000, but i never shift over 5000 in my 06 6MT coupe. I'm always worried I'm going to blow it up. My coupe felt so primitive on the journey back home.
