V35 skyline

All kinds of stupid in this epic thread.....
I had some wigger ask me this past summer if my car was a Skyline... I said of course not, its an Infiniti G35. Read the decklid badging dumba55...
If you feel the need to lie about the make and model of your car to people regardless of what it says in the VIN and on the title certificate of your car, kudos to you.
Nothing but a bunch of ricers.... Incorrect badging is incorrect badging..... If your car IS NOT RHD, then its NOT a Nissan Skyline. Same BS all the little kids do with their Civic DXs when they put Type R badges on them. You live in N. America... you bought an Infiniti, get over it already
While youre arguing with everyone on the interwebz, the rest of us are laughing at you for not even knowing what kind of car you own.

Here are a few things I will wonder out loud... for my friends on here...
1. Could you get in trouble if you are pulled over? Would the cop buy it if you say... "Well, in Japan, you see.... "
2. Do people in Japan rebadge to G35? Would they laugh at us for even putting up this thread?
My best friend taught English in Japan for three years. He doesn't know **** about cars but... he noticed the Skyline because of the sound and because Yakuza usually drive them..
I asked how he knew... and he said," Because they dressed really nice and had PERMS"
An asian man with a curly little afro does not seem like a TOUGH GUY image... to me at least.

That's totally fair. Solid logic.
It's all semantics though. Everything else is the same. With that said, I would still never re-badge my G35 (personal preference).
I love this thread though. It's like arguing abortion. What a train wreck.

4DGS you need reading comprehension skills. I said this was a dealer badged car. My point is.. the car is what it is. I don't tell people I drive a skyline. And if someone does ask what I drive, I always brag about my 69 muscle car. I wouldn't brag about this car unless it was FI. Even then I prefer n/a power. My nissan/infiniti came out of the dealer with a "skyline" package. This included badges, door sills, nissan front emblem, and a carbon fiber dash kit. For those of you who know what I'm talking about, that's why I have had this argument a lot. Those that don't .. back to school.

This was exactly what I was going to say after reading through this thread.
EDIT: I've got multiple friends that run Skyline badges, I've got no problem with it. But if you are going to run them then do it right and swap out your interior parts for Nissan ones to make the theme complete.
