G35 or 350Z?

Hi I’m new here and I came to ask for some help!
I don't know what to buy a G35 Coupe or 350Z! I'm sure most on here will say G35 but I'm still wanna hear opinions.
I have a few questions about the G35 though...I'm looking for a G35 with a sports package and I always thought that only G35s with the spoiler had the sports package? But I called a few dealers and asked if their car had a sport package they said yes! But the car did not have a spoiler...I don’t know if they are just saying that or what??? So my question is how do I know if the car has the sports suspension etc. because I noticed that the ones with the spoiler were much more expensive with than the ones with out. And what should I look for when buying a G35? Like what goes wrong with the car that I should checkout before buying? I’m looking to spend about 10K so I’m most likely getting one with 80-100K on it...I also want the 05+ cause that’s when the body changed and the interior got changed too...I’m also looking more for a auto that a stick cause I have to drive 75miles a day to school and back.
Thank you

You are comparing apples to oranges, almost everyone on here respects and likes the 350z but for different reasons we chose the g35 over it. It really depends on what kind of car you are looking for...

And if you want the whale tail style 05 spoiler buy a dg without a wing and I'll sell you my trunk if you want it that badly.

g35 for looks, 350z for performance...the z is slightly faster than the g on paper but IMO the g looks better

Having owned both I'll chime in. The z to me is a bit harsher than the g, but not necessarily in a bad way. I found I really missed the back seat and trunk space tho, ESP with my job. Good luck with the hunt. For 10k you'll be in high mileage z range and super high g range 4doors

your looking at 03 g35 base model coupe w/ over 100k for 10k...

i think a 350z is more fitting in your budget.

Since the G is pretty much a Z under the surface and runs the same chassis and engine etc, the only real difference is styling space and about 100kg, performance wise and handling, the difference is negligible, i think the G35 looks better which is why i bought one, the advantage of having two extra seats and a decent trunk is worth the extra 9" and 100kg, i always think that the Z rear look unfinished, like the designer lost interest, while the G has style.

If you want tighter handling then just add some coilovers etc, any engine mods for 350z you can add to the G35.

Yea I noticed that 350Zs are cheaper than G35s! But is it worth it to get 05 G35w/90ish or 04w/70ish? I found a few for 12-13K I'm sure with a some negotiation I can take 2-3
K off...This is gonna be cash in hand so dearlers like that or so I heard

You expect them to drop up to 25% off their asking price if you offer cash??? You are seriously looking at the wrong years for your price bracket, you will be pretty lucky to get an early year g35 for that price, 350z is more likely.

Go with what you like the best, but if you want our opinion I would say G35 all day. I believe the G35 is the best looking car, besides your high-end exotic cars. There are plenty of cars that will outperform the G, but when it comes to looks, I don't think they are many out there, also I rather have luxury aspect of the car. Again pick what you want because you don't want to buy a car that everyone else likes except for you.

75 miles a day for school? wow! Well, your just going to use the car for school only? Then get the 350z. You'll like it and it will be fun for you to drive.

i don't know if you have ever bought a car before, but you are still responsible for tax, title and license after the purchase of the car. which means, if you only have 10k to spend, your realistic price range is around 8k.
