well yeah....sedans are generally cheaper than coupes.

I'm ok with the price. Sure I wish it was cheaper. Overall, I'm more concern with buying a 7yr car that's going to give me nothing but problems. I guess that's the risk one takes in buying a used car.

Yep, that's the risk. I was nervous about paying $17k for a car with 75k miles on it. But, a g35 coupe is a lot of car for $17k. What else could you get with 300hp and a 6 speed MT for that much?

I hope mine continues without problems. All the other Nissans I've owned (7) have made it well beyond 150k miles before significant issues.

That's true, coupes sell for more, have you checked any auctions in your area? That's how I was able to bring my sedan down from $22k to $18k. Theres an infiniti/nissan auction in Denver (about 450 miles away) every week, so I used that to my advantage by checking prices and competing with the dealer. I am sure you can bring those prices down quite a bit though.

For as old as they are, they seem a bit pricey, even with low miles. I'd see if they're willing to drop that price through negotiation.

eBay is a great resource as well as Auto Trader. I too live in Chicago and found mine on Auto Trader. What's your budget?

Too pricey for those two, IMO. FWIW.

Thats exactly what you have to do. Im a Manheim dealer myself and i found an '04 g35 coupe 5at black on black with the premium package with 59k miles and one owner on cars.com. Clean carfax and no salvage title. The guy had the car listed for
13, 998. Since im a
dealer, i knew that that was overpriced. Generally they go for 11-12k at the auctions. After talking to the guy he told me to come down to talk about the pricing. I eventually got him down to 12,000 even and took it with a smile. Moral of the story, even though it took me 3 months to find it and it wasnt a sport package, i knew i wasnt going to give in and overpay, and it payed off. Dont rush into buying the G, unless you need it asap. Dont settle for the hyped up stealership prices, theyre making money off of you!

+1

Black/Black isn't too bad with a little bartering

Thanks guys for all your help. I scheduled to test drive the following over this weekend. G35 coupe, 328XI and Volvo C70. I test drove the C70 first and fell completely in love with it. It's a 07 black with tan, 37k miles. I didnt even want to drive the other cars and bought the C70. I love everything about it. The Dyaudio system is amazing. The car drove great, clean carfax and autocheck, one owner. I also bought the 4yr/50,000 mile extended warranty.

Good choice man ^ always go with the newer car. All that matters is that you like it. The warranty will be nice too. Congratulations.

I got an 04 coupe with 38k miles last year for $15,900 and have had no problems save for a minor inconvenience in a faulty fuel sending unit but the dealership took care of it

Thanks homie. The G was my fav car for 8 yrs. I love the way it looks. The C70 however met all my expectations in price, performance, style.

I'd been looking for months, autotrader craigslist and just about every dealerships website within three states and finally got lucky and found one at a nearby dealership
