Who is still using premium gas.
Anyway, I'll take you guys advice but like my calculations proved, that is going to be 4 less bottles of Jack every month. That will knock me back down to 6 a month. Oh well, I'm sure I can handle it...I mean how bad can an alcohol withdrawal seizure be?
Shell gas seems to be the favorite among many, reasons? I would run it but there aren't any good gas stations in Fargo, ND
^My favorite is shell. I love going down to that Shell in Bloomington and getting myself some 93 V-Power.
I only run premium. Only have since the day I bought my car. It gets better mileage so i figure why the hell not? My dad ran 87/89 in his 04 and 08 G35s and any time I drove it, i put 93 in. It got noticeably better mileage with the premium than the regular whenever I filled it up.

Premium all the way... and Shell is dope. Don't know why but I notice a difference. I will go out of my way a bit to get shell over others... but Chevron is the dopest. I'm always amazed how well my G drives on Chevron premium, even compared to Shell... but the only Chevron I go buy is like .20 more than the Shell. I don't know why it is but that's my experience.
When I got my Kubota tractor I had to change the hydraulic/gear oil in it after a break in period. The manual stated clearly and emphatically that only Kubota Super UDT should be put in the tractor, not even standard Kubota hydraulic fluid. The Super cost about $350. The standard cost about $125. I did what I was told and used the Super.
Then I did some research. A LOT of research. I came to find that the Super UDT provided absolutely NO benefit to a tractor with a manual geared tranny like mine. It only provided benefit with hydro drive tractors. I'd wasted $225 for following the recommendation.
That's why I try to find out WHY I need to spend the extra money.

My car always feels like it runs better after a good wash, wax and detail.....but at least I know that its all in my head.
If you can't afford gas, take the bus. I do this time to time. I only spend $1 dollar a day round trip going to school and back. Plus i can cram for a test on a bus. B/c if i was driving, i can't cram or last minute study. Take the bus dude!
my car runs on the hopes and dreams of me hoping that my car with me full of gas every time i step in my car. but when i actually step in my car and see that it is either half or below half a tear begins to form. when i look in my wallet and see that lonely $5 sitting there the tear begins to fall. so i just pull out my mastercard and go run to the nearby shell station to fill up my tank. after fill up i get in my car and realize my dream has been fulfilled....until next time
after all this talk about a topic that has tons of threads on it already, i at least learned that its possible to use 87 on a flat surface long drive, but i don't think i'd ever risk it..
The manual clearly states that all coupes must use Premium. The sticker on the the lid also clearly says, PREMIUM FUEL ONLY.
The manual does say, that if no PREMIUM is available, you may TEMPORARILY use regular fuel, BUT you must NOT smash on the gas or drive "abruptly", and that you should replace it with premium fuel ASAP.
An extra .30 x 16 = 4.8 dollars. So why bother?
Do people wait til the very last second to pump gas? I usually just refill at the 1/4 mark.
