Gas tank for G35 is 20 gallons. Price for premium over base is 20 cents. Total if you are bone dry would be 4 dollars.

People complaining about 4 dollars are probably the same ones geting oil changes with walmart brand oil and buying used tires.

Really it is 4 dollars people. Just eat in once a month instead of going to dinner that night and you saved enough to buy premium for the next 4 months.

You cheap bastards.

Idiot. Who says they eat out at all? Who says they use cheap oil? That's all in your head.....just like your fictional gas prices. Not sure where you live but premium here in the sticks is running 30-40 cents higher a gallon, minimum. Often its .50. The ten cents higher per higher grade hasn't applied in 5 years.

So sure, that comes to maybe $10 per full tank. What's another $10? Right? What if you fill up 10 times a month? Heck what's another $100 a month? Right?

But here is where the argument gets turned around on you folks who think just because you own a G that you shouldn't care how much stuff costs:

If $100 a month doesn't bother you then WHY ON EARTH ARE YOU DRIVING A CHEAP A$$ REBADGED NISSAN RICER AND NOT A PORSCHE OR A FERRARI?

RIGHT?

And what's worse, no one here is whining about the gas prices. That's all in your head too. So I guess YOU just had to find something to whine about yourself.

I don't know about you guys but here in Cali, gas is now $3.90 per Gal for premium. I sure in Vegas it's like .30 cents cheaper, or at least mid land. It seems like everyone is complaining about gas now. If you want to save money take the bus. lol

Gas around here usually goes up by 10 cents per grade. On occasion you see the 87 is x, 89 is x+.10, and 91-93 is x+.30 but that is about 20% of the time.

What a joke.
The difference here is $8 per tank. And my manual (sedan AT) calls for regular. So who's joking? That's over $100/mo.

Jes sayin'. Please don't ask me to act like a freakin idiot, mkay? Thanks.

Here it is 10 cents per grade additional. But your math is rediculious. Over 100? That means you fill up more than 12 times a month?

With your math and 40 cent hike.
20 gallon tank at 25 mpg (average) and filling up 12 times
20x12x25 = 6,000 miles a month.

That would be a whole lot of miles.

In the end, if you want to drive, and you want to do it right. Shush and fill it up with premium, otherwise, buy a civic, or take PT.

Money is money, but that's why we work, right?

Seriously people, would you put used tires or auto zone special tires just to save 100 dollars? Or put jiffy lube special oil to save 10 dollars? Or use a ebay air filter? Ect Ect

If you want to own a entry level luxury car, you have to be willing to accept that you cant treat it like you did your CRX.

The G35 does not have very good longevity as it is, why do you want to make it worse. That is like smoking if you suffer from asthma.

HAHhahahahahah.....

*I always get gas at either Exxon or BP. I refuse to use the cheap nameless gas.

*I ran 87 octane in Both of my G35 Coupes the entire time I had them

*I almost always purchased Used Tires... Thats a HUGE cost savings if you are cautious as to what you buy.

*I ran Mobil 1 oil for 5k miles between changes, and a couple times stretched it out to 6k miles. Owners manual said 6,250 for highway driving.

*I rarely eat out unless its my wife.

*fuel here ran in $0.10 increments until about a year ago. Now its about $0.15

I am cheap... I save everywhere I can, and do all I can to make an extra dollar. When I go to put a new track on my snowmobile... it will be a good used track...

I guess I am the "Cheap Bastard"
