ED Duraflex or Flastic CS rear??

Found some decent CS rear at this site: www.bodykits.com

Don't really know the pros and cons of duraflex. Will duraflex droop/sag over time? Can anyone chime in on this? thanks

If you intend to buy bumpers for your G35 you're better off getting it from our MARKETPLACE under body exterior. They're our sponsors here on DRIVER and make the best quality parts for our mod habit. It's not a good idea to buy fiberglass body parts due to their shortened life, always go with urethane!

i've actually been to the marketplace b4 i'd post the question. Found a CS rear but it was somewhat pricey. Got rear ended over the wknd and still waiting for my insurance check to come in, so in the mean time i'm trying to do as much research ASAP b4 ordering my CS rear. Is your KurumaZ poly? Does it cost more to paint it? Any issues w/ it so far?

I have duraflex now, and i had duraflex from the past.

Duraflex doesnt sag. On the contrair, it is much tougher than fiberglass. This i have tested (however not on purpose). I hvae attempted to slightly bend fiberglass bumpers, and you can here them cracking. Duraflex wont have that problem. It is extremely durable. On my last car, the rear bumper (duraflex) got caught on a parking block, and got pulled off when i pulled forward. The only broken part was less than a fingernail sized piece of duraflex, which was the tab that held the screw that held the bumper in place. Everything else stayed attached and fine. The bumper did bend back, however, but no damage was caused to it. On the contrair, it bent my trunk (aluminum) when it started pulling up when i pulled forward.

I unfortunately dont have any pics of what happened, but i can assure you that Duraflex is much stronger and resistant to bending, scratching, and other damages than fiberglass. It is exactly the same material they use on the top of large trash containers. You can test them out if you want.

Awesome, i was thinking bout that Duraflex CS rear made my Extreme Dimension. It was cheaper compared to the one made by flastic and WAYYYY cheaper compared to that CS rear w/ the carbon fiber diffuser. I rather pay $319 for a Duraflex rear then shell out $666 for the one w/ carbon fiber. plus i don't car much for CF look. thanks for the input!

I would jump on this if I wasn't planning to get the TS1 w/ custom LED built. Here's a pic from one of the local guys.

ain't no one bitchin' here. don't matter how good of a driver u r, some potholes aren't avoidable due to traffic/speed/lighting. It's easy not to worry what kind of material ur s/s are made of when they don't rub over speed bump EVEN when u angle it.

When ur significant other reverse into a pothole @ 5mph 3AM in the morning and ur OEM front bumper and s/s is all deformed come holla at me the damn side marker popped outta place and was danglin. As drunk as i was i slapped everything in place. Wifey was the sober one. Since i am a btr driver i should've driven hahaha
