They might just end up scraping them rather to selling them because of risk of law suits if some of these cars hit the road.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I just happened on this picture - looking closely, looks like a whole bunch of burnt out G37 sedans and coupes. I don't think they'll be parting these out.

My concern wouldn't be with who many vehicles Nissan lost but how many lives were lost in this terrible disaster. Nice people that were caught without enough time to be safe. Quite possibly a whole town of 10K individuals and you're concerned about Nissan's cars?

Nobody is downplaying the human tragedy here, but this is G35driver.com so it's a relevant discussion to have. Take your self-righteousness elsewhere.

it's called humanity, and who the fck would look at the news see thousands of people dead and post a thread titled look at how many infiniti cars are lost...

you don't think it's common sense we all know what was lost exactly seeing all the cars swept up , the ***** on the fckin OP and frankly some of the guys that are participating in this thread..

just imagine someone creating a thread on a PC forum about how many high end computers were lost when the twin towers collapsed....

and OP is wondering how this will affect Infiniti sales in the US, my God i have never wanted to smash my head on the keyboard worse than after reading this thread

You call my comments self righteous, when there are thousands of people dead or missing and your only concern is a bunch of f^cking Nissan's? Welcome to the real world avatar, you must not be old enough to have put a value on life in this world! I seriously feel ashamed illiterates like you are here on DRIVER and no I'm here to stay!

Yes Gary, it is self righteousness. The fact that someone is discussing the material losses does not mean that that person is indifferent to the human losses. Your accusation is a form of PC belligerence and has no place here. There are other people on this site discussing what types of wheels to put on their cars. Are they cold and indifferent to the plight of the Japanese, the Libyans or the almost extinct snail darter eating owl? Of course not.

So take your faux righteous indignation somewhere that it might be useful, and G35driver.com is clearly not that place.

We can all feel as bad as you do, we can all be just as concerned as you are, we can all do whatever we can do to help. But we don't need you or anyone else telling us how and when it is appropriate to have any discussion relevant to this site....when it is clear you have no idea anyway.
