Question Squeak sound from plastic around shifter...

Anyone have a solution for a rattle around the shifter of my 2005 g35? The piece around the shifter squeaks against the center pillar of the car. I have put arrows showing the contact points that I believe are squeaking. any creative ideas? ThanksSqueak sound from plastic around shifter...-g35shiftlever.jpg

pop it up with a spatula, tighten down the screws holding the shifter assembly together, then pop it back in. the problem will resurface eventually, just rinse and repeat. I need to retorque mine, planning to use a little bit of loctite to see if it offers a more permanent remedy

its most likely from the plate underneath, but if it is that part, it comes off easy.

The silver part around the boot with the gear selector marks. Just slide a spatula under it, and gently separate until it pops
