2 76 locations I know of in San Jose. 100 octane is also available at a VP Racing gas station in San Jose too, but I still stick to 76. Not sure where else.

Shell-76-Chevron in that order. I will often ride until I can find a Shell. Wish here in Socal they had 100 Octane gas for sale other than going to a racing fuel store and buying it 10x more than regular 91 Octane.

I've heard Arco is really bad so I stopped using that...

I use 76 now...

Top Tier Gasoline...don't know if this is a marketing ploy since theres mixed reviews, but can't hurt I guess:

I'd been buying Mobil for a while, mainly because they had stations in the right spots, but the last couple tanks I bought just as the prices started rising were pinging quite a bit. I switched back to Shell, car's running better and I'm getting better mileage.

I use Quik Trip, but if there is not one near by, I'll use Shell. I average between 24-26mpg with mixed driving with between 60-70% highway.

^ Considering how all gas comes from the same sources, the biggest difference are the additives... While it's required that all gas has some detergents, Chevron puts some serious amounts of detergents in their gas to make their Techron...

But realistically, gas is gas and there isn't a huge difference between the different brands but price. Rotten Robbie's, etc... where they recycle old gas is another story... there are reasons to avoid those places, but the arguments are pretty petty as well.
