For some reason I get the best mileage and performance from Valero 93.

Shell 91 is the best in my area, living at 5,700 feet above sea level

I ranged between between 18-22 mpg, so far Im at 25.6 (20% city, 80% highway)

99% of the time I use shell 93. I have read the shell goes through great lengths to ensure the quality/cleanliness of their fuels from drilling-shipping-storage.

if I am running low on gas and not near my shell, I also use mobile, or chevron.

Shell Premium only.
Sometimes I'll use BP (I used to work at BP , ironically).
Other than that I just really drive around until I find a Shell

I use whatever gas station I can get in and out of without scraping. By my house that is 76, which is what I prefer. I usually look for Chevron or Shell stations as alternates.

Chevron, 76, Shell. In that order.

76 because that's what they have at the tracks... also the only gas stations around with 100 octane.

I avoid Chevron/Texaco because of their additives, which aren't horrible by any means, and I would prefer using Shell or Arco in emergencies when I can't find a 76 due to their less harsh additives.
