Trunk getting water in it...

Trunk is getting water in... I dont believe its the seal... Im going to replace it this weekend... but i took off the tail lights... caulked all seems where the sheet metal meets as much as I could... took of weather stripping and there was two places where the lip that the seal sat on, that had a quarter inch gap... so i took pliers and closed the gap, caulked the hell out of it, then caulked the seal before i put it back on...
still water..

any one else have this problem?

Get inside the trunk and have someone go around the whole area with a bright flashlight. It's also possible the rear window seal might be leaking.... These are never easy to find!

check the emergency pull wire....

there is a small clip 1 inch away from the seal.. when it gets loose it blocks the seal from doing its job.

I had this problem.

Only issue is I see the water rolling down the wall furthers away from the front of the car... like right when you pop the trunk and look down, the wall closest to you. I stripped the trunk.. its rollin from top of trunk it seems..
