Hey guys so I have an 04 coupe with the non Bose stero and no navi. I wanna buy the Jdm double din kit with the pioneer screen but I was wondering if u have to do modifications to wiring or is it just a direct swap plug and play?

You'll have to get a wiring harness for the radio you're purchasing. Just like you would on any other car.

Sometime you can if the deck has a remote input that works with the factory, but most of the time no

Yes, you can use your steering wheel controls, you need the PAC SWI-X to interface between your existing stereo buttons and the new head unit. This requires cutting into your harness, and soldering in three resistors, a power wire and a ground wire. Then, you have to program the thing, which is tedious. I did it myself, but if you're not comfortable with doing that, take it to a stereo shop.
