Just bad luck for my G

Hi everyone never really properly introduced myself when i had my g,
but my name is Eric, i lived in texas now reside in the bay area.
I have a sad story about my g35 lol
i bought my 07 g35 last may in texas and i was super happy, ive always been a honda guy(still am), but i never felt a RWD car before and i was loving it. I got test pipes for it, a rear vortex generator shark fins for it (like the evo's), and i bought a motordyne 1/2 basic plenum spacer with hondata gasket (still have brand new), and didnt want to install it until i got the lower intake plenum . But in october i hydroplaned going to houston for the cupcake meet, and rannd it into the stone wall barrier. (picture on the tow truck). . i moved to california in november while my G was in the shop. In December i flew back to texas to pick it up and drove it all the way to california. i was excited to have it out there. However, the night i arrived i let a friend test drive it, it was kind of wet and he wanted to see its power. i told him "its not a honda, its a rwd car" yea he didnt listen he lost control and ended up totaling it into 2 huge barn fences and a park car. (picture explains it all) Now i have no G, and im back to the honda game , haha yea morale of the story is "its not a FWD car, never let a friend drive it that has no experience wit RWD." thanks for listening just wanted to get it off my chest and soon i hope to grab another one, but my memories would forever be in my first G! i hope my pictures uploaded on the attachments

The G isnt really a hard car to drive, whether youre coming from a Honda or not (Im a total honda fan) its just careless driving IMO - not bad luck...

That being said; I do feel bad about your loss. =T What Honda are you going to next?

Yea it was just wet road, but right now i got a 01 gsr in texas (all stock), i had a b20v in it but the head starved oil cuz oil pump, and i got a eg ferio (92 civic 4dr) with a b20 swap, but i loved my g35, it was my luxury car haha my daily driver for cruising. hopefully i can save some money to get a new g35, idk how hard it is to get out in california cuz i got it financed pretty easy in texas cuz i had a good job at nissan, but hopefully i can get another one by my 22nd bday next year

Yeah, G35 is a great balance of sport and luxury. And there are no NEW G35, do you mean another G35 or a G37? :P

Just have a decent job, go through a credit union and you should be financed pretty easily. When I was about your age, I was able to finance a new s2000 so unless your credit is horrible you should be good.

Any military experience or family? I highly recommend NavyFederal or PenFed for a credit union if you can get in!!

listen to what he said ... he said his friend is use to driving a honda (fwd car). No it doesnt take a scientist to drive a G35 or Rwd car but if your not use to it..... you dont know wat to expect like coming around a bend and you drifting more then a fwd car ... you have to slow down and if your a honda head you may not realize that and all of sudden your drifting... so please understand a lil

Eric,
If you learn nothing else from this, learn that your tires are the most important piece of safety equipment on your car no matter what you drive. The first accident was your first warning. Drive safe my friend.

I let no one drive my car. If they have no experience w/ rear wheel drive, they are out of luck. All my friends from school only have FWD. Even when i had a wife, i didn't let her drive my car.
