Tried to install my new headunit, but after around 10 hours of fail I feel like breaking something. So ridiculously frustrated and I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. So maybe I can just pay someone to do it for me or at least pay someone to tell me wtf I'm doing wrong...

That's still not a great answer, do you live in my area or San Diego or some where in between? There's two great autio shops within walking distance of my door....let us know.

Oops haha. I thought I added my city. Guess not lol.
I live in Huntington Beach so that's farther up north from San Diego like 2 hours+ away from San Diego
That's almost like exactly between where you are and San Diego haha
This looks promising! Thanks!

lol I already installed it.. didn't take that long.. like 5 or 6 hours or so. But then I doubled that trying to find out what I did wrong.
The steering wheel controls STILL don't work and my reception is really unstable. I'm asking this because I don't know what to do now from here. Plus they probably won't charge me much if I take it all apart beforehand and just ask them some questions and have them look at it.
Funny you should mention that haha. I just dropped by there earlier today.
They charge $70 an hour. Idk if that is alot, but it's alot of money to me for working being done. I don't need much done and the work SHOULD take less than an hour easily so I'm going to try to bargain down a bit.
The PAC SWI unit there is overpriced by a long shot. They said like $80 or $70 I forgot what it was, but you can get it for like $40 shipped off Amazon..

Audio shops are a business, they have rent to pay ya know... If youre trying to spend close to nothing, just google install info and do it yourself. Im not trying to be negative and Im not saying they are not overcharging you; but just because you seem very to have a tight budget and access to parts cheaper. *shrug* Besides, Im sure its nothing too hard anyways!

Wahh nahh.. I'm not trying to pay close to nothing haha just $70 an hour plus surcharge seems like alot. Idk I'm just kinda like that with money in general.
I'm willing to pay for it now because i've spent wayy too much time trying to get my stuff to work and I'm kinda done now lol.. I hate driving my car with the whole front dash and everything all torn up it sucks
..I'll be getting the PAC steering wheel controls on Tuesday. Amazon prime is nice
not paying for it is even better haha. It should take them less than an hour to get it all done so it should be okay. I'd pay for that.
