Who stole the billet caps?

I remember awhile back a vendor used to sell billet caps for the fluids . I've searched and its as if they vanished. Anybody have any info?

The company that made the reservoir caps was Pi-Thon. They went out of business a couple of years ago around the time that I ran the group buy on here.

Check out Zeetoyz. That's where I bought my polished caps from. They're in Canada so shipping time takes a little longer than normal but they're good guys. Here's the link: http://www.zeetoyz.com/index1.htm

^Tim when did you purchase your caps? From what I understand Pi-Thon owned the rights to that design and they supplied Z-Toys with their caps. It is very possible to Z-Toys purchased the rights to their design given that they sold more Pi-Thon caps than anyone.

If you look closely at the black base in this photo from Z-Toys' site it says "Pi-Thon Design"

It's been a while. I don't remember exactly how long maybe 8 months.

They still show as available on their website.

That's cool to know that they are still available. I may give them a call about how they got Pi-Thon's design. I'm very curious if they just copied the design or actually purchased the rights to be able to use it. They really need to take their own photos though, the fact that they say Pi-Thon on them is kinda weak.

The caps weren't a pain to install for me, but the hose locks sure were.

Zee Toys bought from python so it is hard to say if they bought a ton of them or just started making their own? I am surprised they have them still a few years ago I was talking to the owner of Zee Toys and they were Impossible to get then

I have set I am planning to sell if I ever get aphotobucket account.
