Funny story from last night

I was on my way home from MA (visiting some old friends) and I was cruising about 20 minutes from home on cruise control (72 mph) I see a sweeeet STI in the right lane so I get close to get a good look. Once I catch up I go back on cruise mode. He takes one look and listen at my car and decides to try to race me. Meanwhile while he is being an idiot, my radar is flashing KA full strength. So, naturally I hit the breaks to go from 72 to 65 just to be safe and flashed the STI driver. To late for him, the cop pulled out 2 seconds later and popped the cherry's on.. caught him doing about 110 from what it looked like. My G did a good job of ruining his night hahaha. Also to be clear I was not street racing, I was going a responsible, safe speed and some dumb *** tried to race me.

I actually have a few (do a ton of highway driving) I have the PASSPORT Qi45 (with laser shifters), the V1, and the bel 995. I only put up the V1 when Im doing a lot of miles because I find it catches things a tiny bit before my Qi45 does.. the 995 I let my dad use

I don't bother going over speed limit/racing anymore.

Popo cracking down and are EVERYWHERE now a days. Will be back to college in a couple weeks, and theres a legit racetrack down there. (closest racetrack right now where I live is 2 hours away)

So let me ask you this..

Had the police not been there, would you have raced him?

=D

Oh and to add, the police officer could have pulled you over too for improper use of your headlights . I never warn people of speed traps. If you get caught speeding, you deserve it haha.

This is a fairly good example of why we should all buy/use radar detectors. That's funny "Popped the Cherry's on," that an Oh **** moment....
