Do you drive your G with the VDC on or off?
Edit: I'm not trying to get called an idiot for having it off or a grandma for having it on. I don't want this thread to turn into an argument like others i've seen, I'm wanting to know something completely different. I should have been more clear.
I've heard that even when it's not "kicking in" that your engine can be less responsive and sporty and it losses power. Also I've heard that even when it's off, it's still there a little bit if you reeallyy need it. What do you guy's think?

No there is no power loss, or responsiveness with it off or on.
When you just push the button after about 5 sec it will kick in.
There was just a huge VDC thread like a week ago, use the search

^^ Are you saying that if you've turned it off that once you turn it back on it takes 5 seconds to actually come back on or what???

I always drive with my VDC on! Remember my now famous saying Bob, "SEARCH is your friend" no one else does! lmao Gary
No, if you push the button and turn it off so that the light comes on, on the dash then its just delayed 5sec or so. With it "ON" no lights on the dash its instant.
Personally, I keep mine off unless it's raining. I'm pretty comfortable with the car and know what it's going to do, and when VDC keeps it from doing what I expect I don't feel very good about it. Disclaimer to that though: don't drive like an ******* just to get the car get loose, be responsible, know where you are and what's going on around you at all times.
