Request to Manufacture of G35 for recall---> battery drain/radio/CD system

Hi,

I am requesting a recall from the G35 Sedan manufacture to make a recall. Im sure you know by now that there are many G35 drivers -especially '03- that are facing same issue of battery drainage which is also related to the stereo system.

Im one of those unsatisfied customer of infinity G35 who has been paying money for battery replacements for over a year and it is an ongoing issue, once the car is not in use for 1-2 days the battery is dead!

My radio doesn’t start at all, and my CDs r stock in the CD player. I have been reading about these issues and contacted few other customers and apparently most customers and dealers believe that the battery issue is related to the AMP/Bose system.

So I m putting my request to attention of Infiniti G35 manufacture to make a recall on this and I hope it s going to be taking seriously before we take the matter legally.

I look forward to hearing from you.
S.

Hello Carma,
Thanks for your reply however I need a official letter from Infiniti signed by manager confirming it, so a dealer would take this matter into consideration and proceed with exchange.
Thank you

Thank you for notifiying me of this thread and request, faiz23.

Sahar, I am a level 13 customer satisfaction mediator facilitator overlord and I am here to tell you that your request has been forwarded to the desk of the executive vice presidential advisor to the associate acting magna *** laude sentinel response navigation unit commander in chief. Because of the severity of your claim, we have upgraded the offer previously made to include your choice of any two (2) 2014 Infiniti vehicles available for immediate pick up and ownership. Please bring a #2 pencil to sign off on the title for your new cars. Even more importantly, remove all personal effects from your vehicle at once. Prepare your vehicle to be immediately dismantled to provide much needed parts for next generation Nissan and Infiniti vehicles. As this offer is made, please be advised that the legal team is no longer on vacation, but they have all been put into cryogenic stasis to await our next possible crisis. Thank you for allowing us the memorable and glamorous opportunity to right this wrong.

We humbly live to serve you,

Infiniti

I have also had a problem with the radio/climate control unit. Nothing in the center console works except for navigation system. Radio doesn't work and my heater is stuck at 90 degrees with the fan on high. This is compounded by the fact that my rear window defogger cant be turned on either so this is a real driving hazzard in the morning. I know at 5 people that have had this problem and it seem to be a power supply problem on the PCB.I would like to see an official recall for this due to the number of people having the same problem. I think it is a shame that Infinity hasn't done so already considering it's been 10 years since this model came out and it's been such an ongoing problem.

What I think is a shame is that people can't seem to spell Infiniti correctly.

Shame

What i think is a worse shame is that some people have nothing better or more important to do than to correct other peoples spelling (or misspelling-shame on me).

Is there even a TSB out for this problem? I doubt there will be a recall. Not to burst your bubble but since the vehicle is so old at this point It would take a monstrous amount of cars affected to initiate some sort of recall for a battery drain... The car is 10 years old now and stuff just happens. Sure its a common problem, but its just that. A common problem. Bring your car to a COMPETENT Infiniti dealer and have the problem fixed. Not a new battery, I mean fixed. find out the source of the problem and get it fixed. Is it going to be expensive? probably. Is it cheaper than just dealing with it and replacing the batteries? potentially. Its up to you to weight the cost/benefit. welcome to the world of used cars. Its like me asking Mazda to recall the apex seals in my Rx7. is it common for them to go out and ruin the engine? yep. Will they do anything about it? nope. Unless your battery draining somehow leads to a horrific accident and lawsuit, Infiniti is probably going to tell you to suck lead

Side note. I still cant tell if the origin of this thread is actually serious. seems kind of.... trolly....
