Why the hell would he "pull a fast one on us"?
Would you not agree the thread is misleading? I would hope a member of that status wouldn't "pull a fast one on us", but you never know.

I was Just pointing out the fact things didn't add up. I would really like to see current pictures, because if it looks the same then I'm sold on whatever he's using (and doing).

So, OP, what polish DO you use monthly?
A variety.

Liquid glass and mothers are my two primary, but I also use zymol and nxt from time to time.

It's also fair to say that on average the car gets waxed/polished more than monthy, as does my Scion and my motorcycles.

The truck is on a quarterly schedule, but it's a garage queen and only sees sun unless we're towing.

Normal stuff, clay bar frequently, microfibers, all by hand because I'm scared of buffers.. LOL..

For what it's worth, the long time members here will tell you I've rarely if ever posted pics of my car. It's a stock g, who cares?

I'm not pulling a fast one, you can trust me on this one.

If the wife and I stay around the house today (might be out on the motorcycles) I'll give her a quick rinse and post.

Only a rinse because of pollen, we're having a late summer up here.

To be honest, I didn't even think about the date of the pics because the car looks the same. You'll see.

Just walked out front and the sun isn't even close to breaking the tree line yet. It'll be a little while. It's practically still dusk outside.

The joys of Washington LOL.

The hippo is hilarious and I would agree with you except for one thing -

Just took these. Lighting is different (earlier) and tires aren't dressed, but you tell me.

Looks pretty much the same to me.

Fresh detail in the first pics as well.

I don't know, Bob, it might look better than it did four years ago!

The polishes you cite are in the category I call waxes/sealants, although if you use the Mothers cleaner wax, that has some polish in it, I think. I was thinking of step 5-6 polishes, we just use the term differently.

Damn Bob, very nice. My Diamond Graphite would be quite jealous if it saws these pics.
