Caribbean Blue G w/ black rims

i'm fully aware that, what seems to be the majority, of the forum is "anti black rims" on a CB G, but it was a deal that was too good to pass up, AND i was tired of looking at my stockers everyday.

along with the other minor mods that i've done so far, i think it looks pretty good. i've gotten nothing but compliments thus far, and not just from passer-bys, but car "enthusiasts" as well.

feedback would be appreciated guys, positive or negative, i can take it

staggered 19s
black roof
tinted heads, tails, side markers
15% windows, 45% windshield
painted black grill
"g35" !

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Here's my thought. I personally don't like the look, especially the head light tint. BUT, it's your car and if you're happy, that's all that matters. Haters will hate, that's just a fact of life. And there's a big difference in hating just to hate and expressing an honest opinion.

IM totally not against black rims on a CB coupe.. I am on my 2nd set of different black rims on my CB.

Good friends G on black rims.

Nother member on driver rollin on black T1S wheels on CB coupe..

My G on my old powdercoated stockers ...

Current set up. 19s that look very similar to yours. Vossen Vvs. 075

I plan on lowering my G with spacers all around and maybe eventually paint the chrome black.

I'll be nice and I'm not a hater but when you post pic of your ride you can expect criticism, not feeling the black/blue theme especially the headlights! Like Tim posted, it's your car....

I actually kinda like the dark rims on CB. I personally have one myself.

I like the CB period.... I think it looks better with silver or black wheels than chrome.

OP, your "black" wheels aren't really black with the chrome on them, but I think that makes them look better than Evil Wayzz' old, true black ones. HenryLee's are more gunmetal, which also looks good. I've never been a big fan of all black, but yours look good. Only complaint would be the smoked lenses.

Oh yea, the gun metal wheels look far better than black. Black wheels/tires tend to disappear which is good with OB but not CB where you need a little more bling/color....

Agreed! Don't like the headlights or the sidemarkers, and what rims are those?
