Who posted that oil breakdown about a year ago that showed royal purple casuing more wear than castrol syntec,amsoil and mobil1?

That was a cool read.


I run mobil1, I've run royal purple in other cars but not in the G. I can't justify the money for royal purple, it's almost double the cost of mobil1.

That sounds like the amsoil ad so no telling the accuracy.

I've used mobil1 oil and filters in all my cars, we put almost 300k on the old Camry. $30 for 5 quarts at Walmart, the only thing I ever buy from Walmart. I started running it in my G after my first oil change at 50k and its smooth as silk
