Rims were messed up by shop

I would absolutely **** a brick if a shop messed up one of my wheels beyond repair, I'm in the same boat as you on the discontinued issue. And like Blain said, why would you go back to that shop for anything other than to collect your $$ for the rim repair??

Matt, the only shitty thing about this is.... any rim 18" and over. If it isnt done by a specialty shop, they are protected. Fine print is a bitch, but merchant did the same thing to my 18X10 konigs. My rim was too wide for them to work on and in fine print it states they take no liability. So the manager is being pretty cool about it and i would just see if they will pay for you to take it to a repair shop, its cheaper for them that way.

Depending on the state, liability waivers don't mean crap if negligence is involved. I know in Texas, liability waivers are worthless - they just get people to sign them to deter those who fall victim to negligence from making claims.

Different shop gave me the qoute.

Well hes being cool about it so lets hope he follows through. Plus its bad business to screw military in a military dominated town.

try taking it to another wheel repair shop or have the shop pay for how much a replacement wheel will cost
