just wondering what all can be removed from the engine bay. i know many people lose alot of hosing, brackets, and such when doing wire tucks and all. i've never really seen exactly how people make it all look so clean and minimal. can someone help out on this.
Everything that you don't see in this pic can be removed.

And I haven't even removed everything I could have (idler pulley, hose that connects to the OEM thermostat, AC line, main harness at the firewall, rear coolant bypass, etc.)

i'd like to clean it all up a bit. make it look more minimal. i'd like to get an oil catch can and also a ground wire kit. i really don't like the look of the ground wire kit. especially when it's colored. the bright wires just stick out and run everywhere. i want the positive results of the kits but, i'd like to have the wires look oem (black) and also not have them very noticeable. i'm not too sure how i'm gonna do this yet.

Here is a thread I made on Shane's grounding kit. IIRC Marcus (CsP) is running a custom one, hidden even after all the harnesses and hoses have been removed.

Sean (SxExCx) made a newer version of his grounding kit that doesn't "stand out" as much as the first version. Very neat install. I used to have Sean's kit it was awesome.
re-crue13 is right, I do have a custom grounding kit because I didn't want any wires visible. Its only like 3 wires IIRC (RRDYE put it together for me when he did my wire tuck) and you will only notice them if I point them out to out in person, they don't show up in the pics.

Yes, I now make the V2 "stealth" kit which is barely visible once installed, especially when you order the flat black kit.

There are a couple of quick things you can do to clean up the bay w/o doing a full wiretuck. A RareJDM harness cover is a great start, remove 2-3 brackets that hold wires and harnesses and just tuck those under the cover. Also, I will second the V2 "Stealth" grounding kit from SxExCx and his aluminum PS and coolant overflow tanks. Kinda a crappy pic, sorry for that, but I have the V2 kit in blue and it's barely noticeable in the bay.

If you look at the photo I posted of my bay I've done the upper hose delete. I had both my drivers side and passenger side coolant pipes welded, that's the proper way to delete the hose. I've seen those rubber plugs go bad and leak.
