Lightbulb 2006 Infiniti G35 Coupe, Should I Charcoal the rims?

I currently have a 2006 Grey Infiniti G35 and I wanted to have some opinions on whether I should keep the rims silver or get them coated to a charcoal color.

Charcoal would look cool! I have a gray g35 and just did mine black for the winter. I am planning on going a charcoal in the spring, but looking at previous pictures when the wheels were silver I like that look as well.

In the end it's all just about personal preference and what you will be happy with, not someone else.

Imho, charcoal would just make it look like you have dirty rims..

Ah, gunmetal. It would look ok, but since your cars' paint wont contrast well against the gunmetal color prepare for results to not be as dramatic or eye catching as you might expect.

Ultimately it's your car, and should do what you want. That being said if you're looking for approval from others- painting your oem rims may result in more groans than praise. Save up and get a set of wheels that come in that color is what I would do.

If you're going to have the centers of your '06 coupe wheels powder coated GM (gunmetal) that will look great and last. If you intent is to paint your wheels...don't do it! Paint chips and fades and in a short while will look terrible along with reducing the value of your wheels if you ever intend to sell them.
