Save another $1000 on top of what you paid for that EBAY KIT and you can buy someones used real turbo kit off the Market Place at some point. But please..... do your research before you destroy yout car!
my buddy told me that the turbo I got was a good turbonetics turbo. he said that it was way better than like the godspeed turbos or whatever and this is why i bought this kit instead of the 600 dollar one. i also bought me a hks bov from a buddy with a eclipse because i really like the sound of it. i cant return my kit. i am hoping to get it installed asap i just can't wait. i should be ok running 8 psi that is what i have always heard. it is going to be so badass to be turboed.

Ok, that's really good then. Turbonetics is legit as a used turbo. When you said off "Ebay" I'm sure everyone here thought an "EBAY" turbo. Yea, you shld be ok at 8psi, for the most part. I recommend not getting a boost controller because you will want to up your boost and usually anything over 8psi is lethal for our cars. I'm not saying it is impossible because there are members that have used higher boost with no issue but its better to be safe than sorry. Just make sure whoever does your install knows abt our cars and can tune it properly as well. Don't just take it to any mechanic. Check threads for recommended shops in your area! Good find & good luck!!

Without a blow off valve you will have compressor surge and it is very bad for a turbo. It will shorten it's life. I have heard of people who unhook vacuum to them or don't run them at all for drag racing who don't want to loose boost in between shifts. If it was an automatic trans drag car you would not need one as bad due to never shifting.

I hope you do realize that turbonetics is one of the absolute worst turbo you can purchase, right?

Honestly, not too sure what is really going on in this thread now... but I'll be looking forward to some interesting threads in the future.

It may not be the best but its still superior to those ebay knockoffs is all I'm saying. Not to mention he got it for like 20% of the retail value. At the end of the day you get what you pay for too.

lol I'm such a bully I've been thanked 288 times for my posts n00b. Shouldn't you be studying geography or something?

Post some intelligent banter and maybe you won't have a problem on here, I'm not the only one who's flamed you in this thread you know.

Just another clueless moron giving younger drivers like me and grn a bad name.

keef, I'm going to give it to you straight. Get the fvck off of these forums and research. Come back when you know a bit more about taste.

Don't waste our time posting borderline troll threads because you can't answer a simple stupid question with your own limited intelligence.
