got screwed over by seller VxLyf3 on g35driver

12/23/2011 *OFFICIAL UPDATE TO CLOSE THIS THREAD*
Mike and I talked and everything is square. Most definitely mike is the better man here after all done and said. Happy to say we shook hands and are now cool with each other.

Mike earned his rep back for sure in my books.

this is a copy and paste from z forum post.

my350z post for z members to be aware:
http://my350z.com/forum/the-lounge-o...g35driver.html

i found 19" work s1 on g35driver for $2600 with tires. i contacted seller to purchase and sent portion of payment via paypal as deposit, however, seller decides he now wants $2800..... repeatedly asked seller by the name of mike if the wheels are in good condition, NO CRACKS, NO BENDS, NO WOBBLES. seller states wheels are perfect minus light curb rash.

i drive over an hour to buy wheels. with my phone screen light inspected wheels and asked again to make sure wheels are good as i can't see well without proper lighting and wheels sitting wet on grass. seller does transaction through neighbor as the middle man strangely. seller states wheels are good.. trusting seller i put in car and drive off. later on after mounting wheels and not liking the look, i choose to post up wheels for same price i paid. i even offer trades with members on g35 forum and seller immediately tells original poster to "think twice"......

i'm posting this so others are cautious when doing any business with VxLyf3

several people that know him have been contacting me to tell me that i got screwed, so i am quite unhappy especially that seller denies nor cares to offer help with repairs.

2 cracks, one almost 2 inches in length and clearly seen inside that there was glue used to seal. these pictures don't even show the magnitude of damage and wobble until seen on a wheel machine to measure deflection of wheels.

i wouldn't be posting this if we had. if seller is like this then all should be aware for the troubles. no one else should have to deal with what i did.

In every large group like ours there's always someone that's dishonest! With those wheels $2K would have been too high with those cracks. Hopefully you can get them fixed so they look like what you paid for...new wheels.

Saw this on my350z yesterday. I'll probably get flamed for this post, but I'll play devil's advocate. I agree that this situation sucks. I'm not taking sides, but as pointed out before there are two sides to the story.

Anyways, you did have a chance to check out the wheels before paying. Also, it is a possibility that it cracked in the short amount of time you had them on your car.

Sucks to hear about this especially b/c I was also interested in these wheels. I hope the seller comes to an agreement to resolve this asap.
