at the time i thought mike to be a good guy and gave him feed back as i thought deserved, but after finding the crack mike didn't concern when i contacted him regarding it. being brushed off about cracks and having tire shop finding temporary sealing glue over the crack was infuriating. i did as i did, informed the z and g community and did a follow up response on the itrader review.

My cousin himself is a wheelwhore. Always buying and selling. But when that boy sells or buys and sees something ain't right, even he makes the call to get it made correct. When you're paying gangsta cash for some nice gangsta lip rims, hell to the yes anyone is gonna be pissed if they see a crack, let alone TWO of them. $2800 in yo pocket, whats 2 bills to help get it fixed? Just sayin', two ballers need to work this out right, not be a child about it and deny things. Take care of it.

After reading the thread over on my350z.com I have a better sense as to what happened. If you have an issue getting $200 back or a full refund (not sure which you are seeking) let me know.

If I was the seller I would have no problem giving u $200 to make everything right even if I had no idea the cracks were there.. Mike needs to step up and take care of it like a man!!

as of now me and mike worked it out verbally. on friday during the day i will return to him the new tires for $200, and he will also give me the $200 for the welding/time/travels spent. i think this is a fair agreement between mike and i. will keep the community updated and hoping friday i will be able to let everyone know mike did me right so i can shake hands with him about this.

Op... I'm like you and want to believe that karma will protect us in the wake of our blind trust in people. I think sometimes we come across those people who really do take some care in making sure that things work out. Might cost a bit more here and there but not because "you get caught" but more just because you're legitimately interested in seeing the "other" party enjoying the product the way you will enjoy the one you get in its place.

And to everyone (minus an obvious one) I've ever left feedback to in the past, and everyone I leave feedback to in the future I hope this will be the case.

It's a bit scary though... I see all these guys going "dayum... yo foo... donna geeeft paypal dood." I'm like... frick... I totally just did- in fact I do all the time... thought that was the only way to take on the paypal fee? Thought it was all the same protection? What's going on? And why should I have to X-ray everything I buy to ensure I didn't get ripped off?

How about we do this instead... how about all you 4ssholes who need to pawn off your junk so you can pay the bills... how about you all stop living beyond your means and buying **** you can't afford. That way, those of us who have a reasonable expectation of honesty and the means to pay for it can enjoy the experience for what it was meant to be.

I don't understand how in the tread we all saw it said wheels and tires dont won't to part out for $2600 but you paid $2800. He originally said something like 2250 or 2500 on the DG thread.

Wait wah? your going to return 4 brand new tires off your wheels in exchange for 200 dollars? And you have to deliver the tires to him an hour away?

easier just to say, we agreed $400 refund and he gets tires back in the agreement ($200 tires plus $200 for weld/ time loss). its one of those times it's better to compromise than play tug of war and end up with nothing.
