thats like comparing C63 to a smart car, totally two different categories.

Depends what you're looking for i guess?

I have a G35X and I've driven an FX35. I've owned an AWD Murano for about 130k miles. You have to be more specific about what you want to do with these vehicles in order to get a good answer.

But, The G35x handles much better, has an excellent ride quality. I have driven mine up the 1/4 mile dirt and gravel drive to my cabin and it does fine in terms of traction but ground clearance is very low and limits off road capability. Our Murano handled this road much better and so would an FX. Otherwise it pretty much just comes down to whether you need the SUV (station wagon) configuration of the FX which is very handy if you do a lot of outdoor type activities. The Murano would carry a lot of stuff. Saddles, sleeping bags, camping gear, stuff from the Home Depot, etc etc. The trunk on the G35X is okay but not huge. Ours has the idiotic 6 CD changer in the trunk and it greatly diminishes trunk space.

i like the way both look. i like that the fx35 sits higher and it has the sand color interior.

the g35x seems faster and handle better.

do they get the same mpg?i dont care about how fast there are. ride quality

own both, G seems faster and handles better also much smaller. in the FX I feel slow and really high up but it has a decent size trunk if the rear seats are down. It depends if you need an SUV or not. mpg are the same in my 2003 G35 as my 2005 FX35.

If you need room for stuff, the FX is clearly better. However, you're going to pay a lot more for an FX than a G35x so I guess budget comes into play too.

Get an FX then, if you can afford gas & the car then get a FX45, if not then get a FX35.
