Alright guys I have a bit of an issue going on right now. When I bought my 2003 G35 Sport Coupe the factory radio and HVAC controls did not work. (Common problem, I know). Upon doing research I discovered I most likely needed to replace my factory unit with a Metra or JDM unit. I bought a BRAND NEW Metra unit and installed it yesterday, upon finishing the install all the buttons are functional, the buttons DO control the HVAC controls on the dash. I can adjust temperature, dual climate, heat, a/c, everything looks like it functions on the dash....BUT MY HEAT STILL DOES NOT "KICK" ON!!! When I adjust the controls I can hear my car trying to turn it on as the idle fluctuates, but there is no air blowing through the vents. Please help as it is January and my daily driver has no heat!!!

 

Fan motor?

 

I heard it may be a fan relay or receptor??

 

Temp sensor? IIRC its on the drivers side.

I only remember guys having issues with A/C with it unplugged, but it wouldn't hurt to recheck everything.
