Question New Member and Possibly NewG35 Owner

Well ive been in the market for a new car and ive been looking at the g35.
some info about me:i currently own and drive/ride a 2009 Highlander/2004 Rav4/2006 Yamaha R1...i have owned cars from 2001 hyundai tiburon and a 2004 toyota solora. since i have sold both of them i no longer have a coupe/sports car. i know how to drive manual and everything. so now what i want some help with is which g35 to get? mainly what year? also i would much rather have AWD than 2 wheel drive. anybody have suggestions? what are the faults or normal issues with these cars. and i am buying used so not really going to get anything past 07.

now my current list of mods on my Rav4.
21056 as of 8/20/11
Clarion NX500 with -Rearview Camera
-Video bypass
-iPod connection
-HD Radio
Fog lights with Halo Ring.
Tints
Viper 5902 Alarm System with -Window Roll Down Module
-Automatic Start
-Viper HD Remote
-Clifford 7752x Remote

the names Mark btw. nice to meet you all

If you want awd, then your going to be in a sedan with an auto.

The best years for that would be an 05-06, the interior and exterior were updated from the 03-04's.

There are just some typical maintenance stuff with these cars with the exception of window motors, compression rods, and a couple other things.

Honestly, in my opinion if you are keeping the rav4 get a coupe with rwd and a 6spd.

Coupe is only rwd and comes in 5AT or 6MT. I would look into an 05 or later because of the refresh.

05 & 06 have oil consumption issues.. 03 & 04 have basic maint issues with the window motors and power locks but those are easy using the DIY threads on this site. if u really want to go issue less than go w/ a g37 but the g35 styling is better without the spoiler.

Mileage is relative to the fact that u could have someone race the shiet out of a G with low mileage compared to an elderly driver taking a G on highway cruises but then again u never know, to each their own.

I can do a 11k which leaves u plenty leftover for whatever mods/wheels etc.
