So, today I received a little "gift" from a police office in Texas to the tune of $167......all because I don't have my tag mounted on the front of my '06 G35 coupe. Now I'm trying to find a way to mount the tag without having to drill holes in my bumper...any ideas?

Texas must really want you to run a front license plate charging you that kinda $$. Even here in SoCal it's just a "Fix it" ticket. Hope our Governor doesn't see this or we're screwed....

Here in SA I've never gotten pulled over for that. But did get a warning at my small hometown. Guess it just depends on where you live

 

Stillen makes a no drill liscence plate kit, utilizing your tow hook cover and the plate holder screws into the tow hook bolt it's approximately $75 still cheaper than the ticket.....

 

its only a fix it ticket in Texas as well, all you have to do is show proof that you mounted the plate and they waive the fine.
