Well George...I mean Garage...I'm glad I never took my car to your shop, cause you can't even read a simple table. You're confusing quarts with liters. I can't imagine all of the countless cars you've serviced putting in incorrect fluid amounts. How do you like them squirrels!!
No I didn't confuse anything so you show me a owners manual and I provided actual spec sheets that say 4.7 qts.
Did you even look at the 2 charts I provided? They boyh clearly say 4.7qts

The adult female is probably laden and the juvenile unladen... Unless you're in the southern US... In which case the laws of probability insist that they are both- in all likelihood- laden.
Gotta love members coming on here spouting their opinions and even when you show them a copy of the manual they still argue, what's with that? Thank you I'll continue to add 5 quarts of AMSOIL along with my WIX filter every 4 months or 4K miles, which ever comes first.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

Owned my car for 3 years and every oil change gets a 5+ QT jug of synthetic oil and the M45 filter. Fills the dipstick right to the full line every time so I have a tendency to believe the owner's manual.
Not to mention that the charts other groups, companys have made could have used the 4.7L by mistake? How many reprinted service manuals (Chiltons and such) have had incorrect info in them
