Not sure if this has been posted up yet, but I thought it was pretty cool until I read on and found out that the US will yet again miss out on possibly some cool cars.

Kinda reminds me of what Toyota did with its Scion brand

 

^^I think that's the goal they are trying to achieve. Some of the new small cars are pretty cool and have some cool features.

 

Would like to see some of the Datsun cars..

 

Wish they had at least a concept to show for now

 

would love to see a little square coupe that begs to be bombed and tracked.

 

I drove/raced a BRE preped 510 for over 8 years and drove it all over CA., she was great fun for the '70s and so easy to work on. My son used to sit in the backseat watching for the CHP on our way home from Riverside raceway. (early radar detection)

would love to see some pics of the BRE 510!! Even though they only had Polaroid back then huh?? jk. I've seen articles on the BRE 240z and Brock was a legend of his time. My 3rd car was a 1984 Datsun/Nissan 300zx which I held on to until I had to sell this year, I still miss that car and if I had room to store it I would have loved to make it a autocross specific set-up. In the future I plan to do a 510 build with a possible 300zx engine swap or maybe an engine from a JDM Silvia, I know these have been done quite commonly.

 

Hmm... That's an interesting read. I think I'll reserve judgment until I've seen the cars but this could potentially be kind of cool.
