Everybody wants to just ride on the rim these days I guess?
No need for barrels and faces anymore I'm assuming.

It must be a generation or geographic gap. New set of wheels to a gen xer like me means getting a different car.

Good point about barrel & faces though Jersey.

I'm patiently waiting for a nice set of Gnosis GS4 wheels & tires that aren't either too Gary Busey aggressive or too grocery getter subtle to hit the market place.

Started to polish the lips on my VS-XX's. It's so much work. The previous owner used some harsh chemicals to clean the faces of the wheels which ruined the clear on the lips. So now I have to sand and then polish the lips; with the wheels on the car...

Finally installed the brakes. Trying to figure out if I lost any acceleration. If I could go back I probably would have just sold them for the profit. I may just post em up in time for Christmas! !

Changed transmission and differential oil. That smell is burnt in my nose. Smells like Harbor Freight aka cancer.

Also installed eibach rear sway bar. Not for handling, just cuz I like the pretty red color.

Fer sher. I'm fcukin beat tho. These damn cars are so low there still ain't no damn room underneath even with it up on jack stands. Makes you use all these weird muscles in weird positions. Tryna get my beer on.

I did find a cool universal pump tool for gear oil tho. Just goes straight into any quart/gal jug so you don't have to deal with a 3rd party container. Pretty sweet.
