Ugh I finally finished the front end bushing replacement & installed the tokico d spec's. I couldn't install the rears though, the damn bolts are frozen to the bushing. As the bolt comes out its tearing the bushing out

One thing after another with suspension mods I tell ya! I ordered some whitelines for the rear strut bushing so hopefully only a few more days and the rear is completed. Then i get to backtrack in a few weeks and throw in some front camber kit & rear arms before an alignment.

I will say the ride quality is already improved. For one I gained 1/4 of space on my front right tire which rubbed often. I dont have nearly as much body roll going into turns & I havnt adjusted the struts yet. They are somewhere in the middle but the rears are still stock until the bushings show up. Then i can tweak the settings etc.

Forward progress is still progress right?

Hopefully ill be ready to drop it off for exhaust work next week & finally get the hks+art pipes on her. Iso spacer kit goes on Monday

 

Put on new exhaust, painted rear bumper diffuser, put on new HD front lip.

But found a nasty spot the painter missed on the upper glove box and a small area on the drivers air vent end cap. Looks like its going to have to be re-painted.

Its really not that bad. but ive done it like 10 times.

 

The project lights showed up today.

 

My E30 lenses are on the way... Sharp cutoff incoming!
